Relocate Your Fuel Pump - Under The Gas Tank (The "Mucker" Method)

Disclaimer:    I can not be held responsible for anyone screwing up their bike or accessories in attempting this modification.
While it worked well for me, I can't guarantee other people's workmanship or prevent their mistakes.
You undertake this at your own risk!

For the cost of a few long zip-ties, you can move your fuel pump under your gas tank.
This saves you from buying a kit.
The net result is the left side of the engine will now be showing off those beautiful jugs!

Rather than re-invent the wheel, I'll simply point you in the direction of where I found the instructions.

It's right here in RoadStarMagazine.com:
http://www.roadstarmagazine.com/gt_fuelrelocate.shtml

Once on the page, you can click on each of the photos to get a larger view.
I ended up printing out the article as well as printing out each of the enlarged photos.
This was invaluable once I got into actually doing the mod.

I've now done this on three of my friends' Roadstars.

Other fuel pump relocation methods and instructions:

This one has some good diagrams showing how you should cut the bracket.

This one has the fuel pump going behind the suide cover.
